Sketchers/airators - quality? good as Clarks?

ds has to walk about half a mile to school and the same back again - so want shoes that will be supportive for his feet.

He's seen the ads for Sketchers and airators and they seem the same kind of price as the Clarks ones.

Are they any good - or more for posing in?

ds is almost 5 but takes a 13 in a shoe -so I presume they do shoes this size?

Is skechers not the trainers brand of clarks? Either way they are trainers rather than shoes. Good quality though, ds had some last year that are still going strong where the cheapy ones from shoezone have fallen apart.

I don't mind if they are trainers - it's only pre school he's at so can change into plimsolls for indoors and wellies for outdoors.

I was happy with ds's, fwiw.

Can you get them on the high street?

We got ds's in an independent shoe shop. I'd buy them again.

No Clarkes trainers are Cica frogs.

DTD2 has some sketchers shoes, and they are deffo shoes rather than trainers but they are more casual than Clarkes.
