Hi, just wondering if anyone with this mobile can help? Any ideas on where to attach a landyard to it, to keep it firmly attached round my daughters neck?! They sell them as accessories so surely there must be somewhere to thread the tiny cord through? Can see it on mine and my husbands phone but not on this bloomin one!!
Thanks - please put me out of my misery before I throw it out of the window!!

RTKangaMummy · 01/09/2008 20:28

how good is the flash on the camera?

does it have a voice recorder on it?

fuzzywuzzy · 01/09/2008 20:31

theres nowhere to thread anything on the u600 I had one.

RTK it has a flash, it is very cool and a touch screen which doesnt stand being dropped often well
You can record sounds on and videos

I've had this phone and I have never been able to hang anything form it

it really pissed me off
the only phone I've come acrosds without the tiny hole for dangly things
sorry

RTKangaMummy · 01/09/2008 20:38

can you get a case for it?

I am sooooo excited to find a real person to ask questions of

I was going to start a thread asking about this phone this evennng and then I hijack yours

sorry

No problem - it's actually my phone at the moment. DD gets our hand me downs and has her sights set on this one, but no use if she can't hang from it. I would take all of a day to lose it!! How weird that the samsung web site actually sell landyards as a dedicated accessory to this phone though?!
I've been really pleased with the phone on the whole, but think I will go back to a Nokia next time as that's wahat I'm more comfortable with. Touch screen drives me a bit potty at times. DD however thinks it's the coolest ever!!

My friend had a Samsung (D900i i think) and that had no thing to thread things on.

RTKangaMummy · 01/09/2008 20:54

how long does a battery charge last on standby?

have you added to the memory?

RTKangaMummy · 01/09/2008 20:54

Thanks for info

RTKangaMummy · 03/09/2008 15:30

how easy is it to text?

Can you think of any problems you have had with it?

We have read reviews and they say the screen goes blank and the text disappears

Also does the keypad get locked automatically? so it doesn't dial out by accident

fuzzywuzzy · 03/09/2008 15:52

keypad locks automatically when you slide the handset shut.

The only time my screen started going funny was after I dropped it on a stone floor and watched it bounce a couple of times before retrieving it!!!
It doesnt take being dropped very well.

It's easy to text and battery lasts for ages on standby.

Haylstones · 03/09/2008 16:18

There is nowhere to hang a lanyard.
Kanga, it's a reallly good phone imo. Camera is really good, battery lasts ages and it's easy to use. I use it as MP3 player and listen to the radio while out running. Only slight downside I've found is that when I scroll trhough photos I often clear the screen because part of my hand/arm brushes onto the touch screen but this isn't a huge issue imo!

Haylstones · 03/09/2008 16:20

se a oh and like most Samsungs it's difficult to use your own tones etc for ringtones (not impossible but tricky e.g you can't use the voice recorder then use as msg tone etc)

Haylstones · 03/09/2008 16:21

Sorry, ds is grabbing the laptop, think he's crying out for attention

RTKangaMummy · 03/09/2008 16:40

Thanks
