Was in Asda yesturday and noticed that they do photos on canvas. I saw a few samples on display and thought they looked really nice.

Has anyone had these done? What's the quality like? Any online stores you would recommend/avoid?

thanks

We got a NEXT voucher as a Christmas present that entitles you to put any print onto canvas.....thought the quality was good. All our photos are stored in Kodak online and they offer fantastic options for your pics....calenders, mugs, canvas, etc so we mainly use them.

"Has anyone had these done?"

Yes, I have tried this, and it is really a rather inexpensive way to have something different and great looking on the wall.

"What's the quality like?"

It depends on where you buy it. Some are good, some are not.

"Any online stores you would recommend/avoid?"

Avoid the absolutely cheapest ones. I've tried eBay, and the quality was a bit so so. See if the website mentions anything about how the prints are done, and what material they use, as I think that show they don't try to hide anything. I also bought a canvas print from www.mcanvasprints.co.uk/ which turned out to be great, highly recommended.

I had one done about 4 years ago when there weren't so many comapnies offering the service through www.intercanvas.co.uk/

They blocked out the backround of the picture (so it left just DS1 in the picture and not the sofa etc) and then I had it put into black & white - I lkied the fact that then they send you a proof so you can decide whether to go ahead or not.

They may not be the cheapest but I was really pleased with the result so feel happy to recommend them.
