Can anyone advise me on the straps on the Quinny Buzz?

Hi, I have a Buzz and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but the straps on the pushchair are sooooooooooo tight now on DS (10 months). It was fine in summer but now he is wearing thicker clothes and I can barely fasten the strap. Can I lengthen it or is that how it's made?

TIA

is it the newer foam ones? contact dorel uk and ask for strap extenders. its a known problem.

also ask for an XL seat as well whilst you are there.

No it's just normal straps but they do have foamy type 'comfort' straps to go over the shoulders is that what you mean?

What's an XL seat?

which model buzz is it 2006, 2007, 2008? I think misdee means the super soft foamy seat unit cover thingy.

lol MB.

how old is the buzz. the memory foam seats have shorter dtraps. and people are also finding their babies arent fitting in the seats for long. dorel are issuing the new xl seats free of charge, similar to whats on the 2008 models.

I got it last year so assume it's the 2007 model but TBH I'm not sure! It was brand new and latest model as far as I know.

Martianbishop- are you sexually frustrated?

Memory foam like what you get in beds? (martianbishop will really be thinking bondage now...)

It doesn't bounce back to touch so I don't think it's memory foam but the pram's meant to last til 3 years I think but how can it when DS is too big for it already???? He will never fit in it with his winter coat on

I was going to start a thread on this, but now see it has been done before! I have just been to Mothercare (where I bought my Quinny)and they have ordered me the XL seat and bigger straps (free of charge). They said it is a well known fault with the Quinny Buzz 2007, as the seat on it was too narrow to accomodate a larger baby.
