Help! Does the Maxi Cosi CABRIO fit the Easybase like the Cabriofix?

Right, might sound a bit complicated but I bought for DD2 the Maxi Cosi Cabrio (they also do a Cabriofix), does anyone know if the CABRIO (not Cabriofix) fits onto the Easybase? I have lent it to a friend so cannot find out (don't have a base yet either).

think the cabriofix is a new name for the cabrio.
My cabrio does fit onto the easybase though. HTH

Woo hoo! Thank you champagne! The Cabrio is the older Cabriofix isn't it? You use it on an Easybase which I can buy now?

Our cabrio didn't fit on the bases we bought, we needed the cabriofix.

Oh no! Bibi, you have just depressed me! I really don't want to have to spend £180 on a new car seat set but I cannot be arsed with having to mess around with the seat belt like I had to with the Cabrio.

Look underneath the seat. If it has two chrome bars running across the width of the seat then it is a Cabriofix. Without them it is a Cabrio. These were added when the Easybase and Easyfix base were introduced.

Basically, the base (either) has four 'teeth' which clamp on to the chrome bars.

If it has no chrome bars then it won't fit on a base. Sorry.
