Can anyone recommend a wireless colour printer?

Am looking to buy a new printer and hubby says wireless is the way to go but I don't know where to start. Please post your suggestions!

We have a Lexmark one that is a printer, scanner and photocopier all in one. It was not too pricey, is relatively user friendy (ie I have got it to work without killing all those around me in frustration) and the wireless is good enough that we can have the printer upstairs and send stuff to it from downstairs.
It also has a memory card reader so you can print out photos directly

I heart my canon - does all of the above AND makes the tea.

I've recently bought a new one and can't decide whether I'd recommend it (so many problems setting it up initially) but think you have to ask yourself how much printing you are going to be doing, compare the costs of replacement cartridges and also what do you want it to do (just printing or scanning too plus picture downloading straight from memory stick?)

Aaaah Swampster, if only mine did that

SwampsterHasAWarmFuzzy · 27/08/2008 18:31

We had a Lexmark at work for a while and I had a REALLY bad relationship with it.

LongDroopyBoobyLady · 27/08/2008 18:32

Mine's a Lexmark - don't think I'd recommend it yet my mum has one and loves it.

bigspender30 · 27/08/2008 18:34

conflicting opinion over the lexmark then!
I would be using it mainly for some freelance work I am doing but also for photos too. Links please ladies ( and gents)

unfortunately it does not make tea

HP photosmart C4380

Maybe it was DH who made the tea after all...

bigspender30 · 27/08/2008 21:24

hey it looks like it does everything bar make the tea!

Yep, what bramble said. I've had millions of printers over the years and they were all rubbish. This one is brilliant. It's actually got a permanent place in my living room it's so brilliant

bramblebooks · 28/08/2008 09:41

I've just replaced the black ink cartridge. You can buy one that is 5x the size of a standard one for less than twice the price of the standard one (£23 for the biggie!)

oooooh, eyeballs, my first 'what bramble said' - is achieving status of a reg.
