I'm usually a month to view girl but considering going out on a limb as the weekly one has 6 columns!

Communion the pocket life book is definitely handbag sized. Ordinary life book if you have a big bag!

I already have a diary with everything in but forget to check it every day, so I want something I can put on my kitchen wall. What is the meal planner like?

Communion · 27/08/2008 10:28

Ok, I am going to but the life book diary, should I go the whole hog and get the cover, as I do tend to accumulate various bits of paper that need keeping together, or is that very indulgent and unecessary?

hippipotami · 27/08/2008 10:35

I got the cover last time, and wished I had not bothered. It was a very snug fit, I struggled to do up the zip even before I put various bits of paper in the pocket. The pen-slot is very narrow and I could not fit a biro in. Once I did fit a pen in, the cover definately would not zip up
The leather, whilst lovely, stains really easily, so now looks awful even though it is only a year old.
A huge disappointment really

So my advice, life book only. It has a pouchy bit at the inside back cover for loose bits of paper.

Communion · 27/08/2008 10:53

oooh I'm very disappointed t hear that as I was really coveting a raspberry cover.

Anyone got anything good to say about the cover before I purchase?

..............anyone??

Nemoandthefishes · 27/08/2008 11:22

I have not had any problems with my cover at all and have put my new lifebook in it
and the raspberry is rather lush!!

I ordered the cover anyway.

I could not resist.

I am now very eager for all my purchaes to arrive, I have ordered the life book with raspberry cover, note and list book, menu planner AND calenedr.

DH will roll his eyes.

How long will I ahve to wait d'ya reckon?

hippipotami · 27/08/2008 11:59

Where are you all ordering from? Can I have a link please, I want to get my next life book?

I must admit, I have not heard anyone else have problems with the cover, but mine was definately a lemon. Even dh could not get it to zip up, so it was not just me being daft....
Mine is the raspberry one too, and it did look lovely, for all of three weeks. Then I made the mistake of picking it up with just-creamed-hands and left handprints on it. Aaargh.

I have the magnetic fridge thingy and I love it! Have gone for pocket life book as is portable (found life book FAB but too big to cart around and then couldn't make plans when I met up with friends because didn't have it with me....)

anyone want some page dividers,

i ordered them by mistake,

they only fit the full size organiser not the pocket one,

hippipotami · 27/08/2008 20:07

Thanks communion, I did not see that

tassisssss · 27/08/2008 20:12

watsthestory, I don't think the pocket one has the month to view double spread page that the big one has, which is a shame.

(I don't use the cover, the zip was too much of a hassle for me)

am I right in thinking you can have personalised covers?

VictorianSqualor · 27/08/2008 22:10

That link isn't Cod's link at the beginnign though, this is Cod's link www.organised-mum.co.uk/idevaffiliate/idevaffiliate.php?id=217

I have stuck all my end of term/start of term stickers in for the next 12 months [swot emoticon]

It is probably the last time I'll open it.

Do the OM people read here for market research dya think?

Feedback: I love the book and the magnetic weekly planner BUT:

  1. Better quality thicker paper in diary please, with pages that open better. Bit flimsy IMHO.
  2. Loving the fridge planner but LIKE EVERY OTHER MAGNETIC WRITE ON BOARD your daft fecking magnet is not glued on properly. Pen fell off and got kicked under fridge within 45 mins.

I thank you.
