Car seat up grade - i'm clueless!

When do you up grade your toddlers car seat? Mine is 3 and is looking a bit big for it!

When did you upgrade your's and what is the best one to go for?

I'm a bit clueless - i've lost a leaflet which told me. I'll no doubt find it when my toddler turns into a teen!

How much does your DC weigh?

5 point harness's are rated to 18kgs so approx 4yo, after this your DC will need a high backed booster to use with an adult 3 point seat belt.

As he is big these new seats are roomier and several have the harness so he can use the harness to 18kgs and then you remove the harness and use the seat belt thru guides so it sits correctly, this type of seat then becomes a backless booster cushion until DC reaches 135cms in height and can legally use a adult seat belt on it's own.
