Does anyone have any strong views on this?

My ds has been walking for about 6 weeks and I'd like to get him some shoes for outdoors, if it's recommended. Are there any guidelines on this?

Just take him along to a clarks or an independant shoe shop (we have a great one where I live) and they'll measure him up.

I think if he's walking outside it's a good idea stones hurt to walk on with bare feet.

yep if he's walking well now unaided he def needs shoes my two youngest have had pre-walkers as they walk around alot round climbing frame etc swings at park. Recommend independent shoe shop, my preference has been startrite over clarks but depends really on what best fits your child.
