mobile phone question: TMobile reception in London

posted this in geeky stuff but no luck yet, so thought I might ask over here...

Is reception on a TMobile phone good in London?
DH is thinking of leaving Vodafone (poor customer service) and t-mobile are offering some good deals
I was with them a few years ago, but the reception was poor in parts of London. This drove me mad,so Im urging him to stay on with vodafone
but DH claims that poor reception is a '90s concept' and that all networks are good now.

Please let me know what the situation is thankyou

I've been with Tmobile for about 2yrs now and haven't had any problems with reception. Definitely better than they were when they first launched!
