Max age for Tummy Tub?

Site says 6 months but is this realistic?
Has anyone used one, how long for please?

My daughter absolutely loved it, but we only used it for about the first 8 weeks.

dd loved it, would no way have fitted in after three months though!

she is a big un tho, bless her
