decided to get a mp3 player to amuse dd in the car for long journey to france. was going to buy an archos one but then there is the whole issue of another set of cables and software and faff. also i am seduced by the concept of being able to use wifi with the iTouch.

Help!

How old is she? I think a young child would find the itouch difficult to manage, it's very sensitive. But it is lovely.

well i would use it for dd (4) in teh car i.e. start a movie and then freeze the controls. the rest of hte time it is mine ALL MINE (rubs hands together)

I adore my Ipod Touch but the screen is far too small for a 4 year old to watch a movie in the car. Get a DVD player that you can attach on the headrest in front of her.

really? she manages to watch the nano screen quite merrily.

friends just offered to lend me a dvd player so i might just go down that route.
