DS1 age 11 starting to get the odd spot. What would be the best face wash/cleaner to get him?

14 year old dd says clean and clear works ok , that and toothpaste on the odd spot.

Has splashed out on freederm but says it doesnt work.
Not sure if there is one product that hits every spot,its a case of try out to find one that works for him.
