What sort of Doll's House shall I get DD?

I have been thinking of getting DD (age 3) a Dolls House for a while.
Yesterday we went to a friend's house and she played with this Dolls House for AGES!
However, it is no longer available to buy in the UK (only the US and shipping costs are HUGE!)

So my question is, what else would you recommend?
Any ideas?
TIA!

we have one from Toysrus, plain wood, comes with all the furniture, they had if on offer for half price but is sold out so we got one on ebay for about £75 iirc

this one

I have that one you linked to as well, handed on by dh's family

Playmobil.

Woolworths did have a version of that FP one earlier in the year or try TK maxx

fisher price on ebay

Don't get the Elc one!

We tried to save money as dd really wanted the one from GLTC which she played with constantly at a relatives house (it was double the price) but we ended up wasting hte money she barely played with it.

TKMAxx is a good idea, I will check there. We have a couple near us.

Will also check GLTC and Playmobil

This is the gltc dolls house.

I think dd liked it because it was easier to play with.

Mercy - I know what you mean, some of them are so fiddly.

That's why I particularly liked the FP one cos all the pieces were quite chunky and she was able to make them sit on chairs, go to bed etc by herself (a big plus point for my DD, she hates having to ask for help!)

The house was also quite easy to reach into and not too deep.

There is a new one in ELC Ming that looks very like your link,it's in the new catalogue.

Will check the catalogue, thanks.
