Is theree an alternative to the appalling-quality BUNNY CLOCK?

We're now on our 2nd bunny clock - sent the first one back as it was forever jamming and seemed to require a 'knack' to set. The 2nd one is no better - worked for a while but is now completely stuck. I'm loath to buy a 3rd, but as a concept it is a good one - worked a bit with DD1 and I desperately need something for DD2 who regularly gets up at 5am.

Is there anything else?

Grobag are making a similar clock on the bump to 3 website which looks good (look on the 'new' section under 'sleep'.

However, the other ideas seem good - and cheaper!

Thanks all. Bought a string of flower lights + timer - used it for 2 nights so far, no miracles yet!
