Sat Nav advice please.....

DH bday coming up want to get him a sat nav - anyone know of any good deals or can give me some advise - which is best garmin or tom tom or are they both same - i think he would apreciate a sexy voice telling him his directions if you can change voice modes!!!

I've got a TomTom 720, and its really,really good - I drive a lot for work and its easy to use, and gives good routes. You can change the voice too.

DH has a Garmin Nuvi and really likes it. Especially now he's found you can download other vehicles to display (he is currently a slice of pizza)

We have a Garmin Nuvi 250w its quite good but its not used very often as we only use it if we are going away for a weekend somewhere
