What's the point of the sticky tag on the back of Pampers active fit pull-ups

I guess I'm being thick but what is the little sticky tag on the back of the nappy used for?

My son just seems to get it stuck to his trousers all time.

When you take the nappy off you rip the sides of it to get it off and then when you roll it up you use the sticky tab thingy to keep it in a roll.

so you can roll it up and stick it that way when its finished with!

when u dispose of the nappy you roll the nappy up and stick the tag down so it makes a neat package - apparently

A bit like when you get a tab on a bag of sugar or packet of rice or pasta and you use it to stick the bag back down again.
