shredder

down from 50 quid to 20 quid. 80 quid elsewhere.
Really handy- have bought one for me and one for my mother- will shred everything with my address on from now on- this identity theft has worried me.

Ok for household use

May be this is why the govt is bringing in id cards - as everyone destroys all proof of who they are

misdee · 10/02/2005 11:53

have just put one by for store pick up. cheers!!

anorak · 10/02/2005 12:13

You can buy a little manual one in Poundland which obviously costs £1.

What we don't shred we burn on our log fire. DH is very careful about identity theft.

Davros · 10/02/2005 16:07

I've also reserved one to collect although seem to have managed to reserve it at two different shops!

Bagpuss30 · 10/02/2005 16:11

We have that one - it's very good. Be aware thogh not to leave it turned on with a three year old and your new credit cards lying around .

pixiefish · 10/02/2005 16:18

bagpuss- ROFL.

Hmm, PF, silly dh, could have been a very nasty accident. We had spent the entire evening before rowing about who had lost the cards too. DH always turns off shredder at the wall now.

pixiefish · 10/02/2005 16:38

mine's out of reach on a landing that's inaccessible by dd. it's so useful though- now i just put everything with my address on it through the shredder

Thanks Pixiefish. I've reserved one as I'm always on at DH who chucks all sorts away with all kinds of details on them. I love a bargain !

Got one in Ryman yesterday. Plan to keep mine unplugged unless in use. Awfully dangerous to have around little curious fingers.

Davros · 13/02/2005 10:43
