hi

have just bought a cot mattress from ikea, it's a spring one-sultan dromma i think.

i've got it home last night and dp wanted to know, should there not be the air holes like the ones in the moses basket mattress.

i said i wasn't sure. if this is the case i'll bring it back and go to motherecare or somewhere else and buy one there?

so do i need to get a new mattress or will this one be ok?

thanks

i used the ikea mattress for my son since he was tiny and he was fine. i'm sure they wouldnt sell one that wasnt suitable. try ringing ikea customer services...

ours is a M&P' one it has no holes in it, although the moses basket also M&P did

Our m&p one doesn't have holes either.
I think Ikea are quite hot on safety so wouldn't worry

thank you - just wasn't too sure. and if it gets as much use as the moses basket i'll not need to worry too much anyway!!
