Have no idea where to post this!

My ds1 is just 10,and by the look of his skin his hormones must be raging!

His skin has become really greasy, he's getting serious blackheads too! Do I just leave it, or recommend that he uses a face wash? If so, any recommendations?

Poor lamb - a mild cleanser might be good - perhaps a Simple face wash - nothing too strong, just want to keep his face clean. Ds is 11 and silky smooth skin,it'll break my heart when it changes

Use a flannel to get rid of the dead skin cells.

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/07/2008 11:16

but make sure flannel is washed regularly and not left to go rancid ! or get a buf puf thing

Luckily, he is not bothered- at the moment. When the spots come, they will probably follow, he will change his mind!

It's horrible for me, his beautiful peachy skin changing.

If I do recommend something it must be really gentle.

ds' face is changing shape - becoming less boyish, which makes me a bit sad !

I bought Clearisil for my DSs. They are happy with it.

MaryAnnSingleton · 31/07/2008 21:58

would Clearasil be a bit harsh though ? I used it as a teen and remember it being quite strong...

It might be a bit harsh, but they were getting a bit spotty and it worked.
