Sainsburys did one last year which we had for my ds's party, he wants the same one this year but I dont think they do it anymore. Havent seen it over the last few weeks when I have been looking. Anyone know if another supermarket does one?

I got one at the Bakers Oven - paid way over the odds for it though (perhaps a thought if you are desparate).

dejags · 09/02/2005 19:04

Sorry, that was assuming that you have a Bakers Oven shop local to you.

kid · 09/02/2005 19:04

I think I have seen them in Tesco.
I will be going tomorrow so will have a look then.

Twiglett · 09/02/2005 19:07

if you really can't find one you could make one easily .. just hire the thomas the tank engine cake tin from here

I thought Tescos too but there are none listed on the online bit of my local store and it's a large store.

Twiglett · 09/02/2005 19:08

DS had one from Sainsbury's last year for his 3rd birthday and he pooed blue

pixel · 09/02/2005 19:09

Tesco. Had one last year and noticed the other day that they still do them.

Tommy · 09/02/2005 19:09

Twiglett - are you trying to get that shop into every thread to raise your commission?

Twiglett · 09/02/2005 19:11

I'm not on commission, I'm not honest

(the worst thing is I've NEVER bought / hired anything from there .. but I keep looking thinking oo next year or next birthday I'll get that)

this year DS has his heart set on a castle and there's nothing on their website, so will have to wait for DD's first birthday in May

Just had a look at Asda online. No Thomas cakes but they have a lot to choose from incase you can't find a Thomas one.

janeybops · 09/02/2005 19:41

I have definitely seen them in Tescos

£9.99 out of Tesco, was going to buy one for ds twins 3rd birthday but ended up getting the racing car instead!

pepsi · 10/02/2005 09:52

Thanks, shall look out in M&S in Tescos....lets hope they still do them in March!. In the Bakers Oven do you have to order them?
