I knew she was having a girl even though they didn't find out.

I'm over the moon for them.

I'll spend up tp £50.

what would you normally get for a new baby?

ladytophamhatt · 25/07/2008 17:15

well, I'd shop for clothes but I knew she wanted a girl and she got her wish so i wantto get her something a bit special.

Plus IME 4th babies tend to be abit less exciting to RL people so I want to make sure she knows how happy I am that shes joined the mother of 4 gang

is she really into [urgh] pink?

SoupDragon · 25/07/2008 17:17

Oh dear god, don't get her anything pink. There are loads of lovely girlie clothes that aren't pink. [shudder]

SoupDragon · 25/07/2008 17:18

how about a "Princes on Board" car sign?

[cackle]

FabioThatFirggingCat · 25/07/2008 17:19

Head band with frills.
Only if the baby is bald, though.

SoupDragon · 25/07/2008 17:20

Princes*s on board obviously. I have a firgging cat on my keyboard.

misdee · 25/07/2008 17:21

is this too pink for soupy [evil]

big bunch of flowers?

big bottle of wine/vodka/non alcohlic drink

a take away!!!

Seeline · 25/07/2008 17:21

How about something for mum. when I had DD I really wanted to go out and buy loads of really pretty girly stuff for her, but people had been really generous and I had so much given to me it was ages before I could actually justify spending on anything myself!

itati · 25/07/2008 17:22

I would be very careful not to go over board and make it seem like the girl is more special than the boys.
