So far I've looked at Homebase, B&Q, Wilkinsons, Vertbaudet, La Redoute and Ebay.
They either dont have any or the ones they do have look really tacky or have some sort of Character on.

There must be somewhere that has some nice borders surely.

Anyone know of a good place?

John Lewis have books and books of samples that you can look through and order - we found just what we were looking for and it came direct from france. They're not cheap but lovely.

butwhybutwhy · 21/07/2008 17:27

Gahhhh, nooo way.
They are the tacky ones

Next isn't too bad but its either Diggers or Fire Engines.

I might just give up and stick Thomas the bloody tank engine up

OP posts:
clutteredup · 21/07/2008 18:02

Sorry no, you can only do it in person which is a bit of a PITA, but if you can get to one its worth it, I spent ages looking for one with clouds on. I didn't find one but i found a lovely one with animals on instead.

butwhybutwhy · 21/07/2008 18:08

It seems an impossibe task tbh.

I need to have a border to cover up basically.
The previous owners have left us with 3 layers of woodchip and some flower wallpaper and 3 old borders. The walls are shocking because of the age of the house and we cannot afford to rip it all off and get it plastered and neither of us can wallpaper
