Ok. I'll re-phrase the question.

Is littlewoods furniture a pile of shite?

DS's furniture came from littlewoods, it is really nice, solid, chunky, sturdy, and we've had no problems with it so far and it's over 5 years old and takes daily batterings from an energetic boy, so I'd say it isn't necessarily a pile of shite.

It's the sturdiest furniture in the house in fact, everything else is rickety ancient family stuff I've inherited, I like it!

God am I the only mnetter with Littlewoods furniture???

I have kitted out dd's room with furniture from Littlewoods - albeit not this range. Found it to be very good, great value, ok it's flatpack so you need a patient dh, but seriously, we've had no problems with it. The chest of drawers is still standing, the bedside table doesn't wobble and the bed hasn't collapsed with dd in it
