is it a website that you send you kids to alone or do you visit it with them? are there any kids site that have interesting information/activites for parents or is it all games?

Education city is brilliant you get two free trials which add up to 20 days .
It caters for all your dc and you click on their name and it has activities specified to their age.
After the trial it is 30.00 a year but well worth it IMO .

Cbbc and bitesize are good also.

never heard of education city or bitesize. let me try those. do you let your child play alone on them?

My eldest son does and my dd age 6 .
I play on it with my dd(5) but the good thing is most schools have EC too so they are already familiar with it .

Bitesize is well produced and obviously educational.

But for fun, my DS age 6 loves CITV and Club Penguin. I must confess to being rather fond of Club Penguin myself.

Okay, okay, I sometimes play sled racing against children and am pleased if I win

Oh, and you asked about playing alone. I do let my son play alone for maybe half an hour, but I always feel vaguely guilty about it.
