Which family car is the most economical??

We have an Espace at the moment.

We got it because we needed the room. But dh has an estate car instead of a van now, so that's not esential.

We'd like one that does a lot of MPG.

We looked at that website and saw that Meriva's are quite good.
So yesterday we went to see some. Liked a couple but when we got home and typed their exact details into that website, it said that the MPG wasn't much better than the car we have at the moment. Poo!

It's going to take a lot of researching I think Boring!
