Help me find an all-terrain buggy that doesn't blow over in the wind...

I have a 3-wheeler hauck thingy, but it is a nightmare to actually steer on very rough ground (It's about 1/2 mile to the nearest bit of tarmac here!) .

And it has blown over many times in the strong winds here.

I really want a 4-wheel one, but with the air wheels - I just don't know how to find the damn things!!

Pramophiles, I need you!!!

hauck are pretty por IMO.

whats your budget?

dunno - I'm happy with second hand as this will be the 'farm' pram

I keep my 'nice' pram for in the garden or visits to the village/mainland!

what about the micralite with the all terrain kit?

www.micralite.com/

it is also pretty light but the new toro is heavier.

if u want a proper work-horse of a buggy then look for a mountain buggy or easylife buggy. these are both 3 wheelers though.

am not sure of any proper ATP's that are 4wheels.

Thanks for the suggestions - off to do some research...

another vote for mountain buggy!

mrsleroyjethrogibbs · 13/07/2008 17:29

a big vote for the easylife. they are totally bombproof and more rugged than a mountain buggy - having had both

mrsleroyjethrogibbs · 13/07/2008 17:31

not mine but OMG what a great price here mine still looks like new despite being used for two kiddies

They are great I agree, very sturdy, would not blow over for sure. That one does look lovely too.

I've got a 4 wheel Bebeconfort Raider XT. Pretty good all terrain, can lock the wheels etc etc. Think you can get them on ebay pretty/very cheap.

(it's never blown over btw)
