am expect dd4.

i would liek to get a nice blanket that is neutal-girly, without being pink and frilly.

everything i;ve seen is pink, blue or beige. which i am not keen on.

would love something more lilac/purple or a mix of colours. but not being too neutral.

i am v v fussy on this issue lol. dd1 blanket was handmade and has penguins all over it, dd2 again handmade, and is dalmation, and dd3 has winnie the poo (was originally dd2, but dd3 liked the silky tags on it and claimed it as hers two years ago lol)

can anyone help?

I got one from M&P - like here - there is a lovely striped one - gingerbread, and made with love. They are not cheap, but are good quality!

I got a lovely swaddle-type blanket from here, scroll down for loads of patterns - some nice neutral colours but no animals I'm afraid. Nice and soft and brushed cottony feel, good quality i think. Thin enough for a good swaddle, but thick enough to use to lay over baby/toddler when older, imho! I went for a greyish/silver small polka dot for my dd.

Oh Tallis you bad person - that site is fab and I really now need to get loads of things from there - only DS is neary 17 months!!!

Oh I know, I hanker after loads of those blankets. They're unbelievably soft and scrummy. And BIG. And free postage too (am I leading you into temptation?)

Funnily enough, though, I was v taken by yr stripy Mamas and Papas. Very funky...quite spenny though...

And andyrobo, would your DS like one of these to help him find his water in the dark?? mad but tempting.

I'd forgotten how many good things there were on this site...

sorry for hijack Misdee
