Does anyone have 2 baby monitors in use at the same time?

The layout of our house means that we can't hear DD1 and DD2 when they are in their bedrooms for naps.

Currently have a TOMY walkabout (not digital) in DD1s room and need to set up something in DD2s room. If I get another Tomy one will it interfere with DD1s monitor? Or do I need to get a digital one? Loathed as they are £££

Anyone got 2 TOMY bog standard ones working together?

How old are they?

Oliveoil · 07/07/2008 11:53

we did

we had an all singing all dancing Tomy thing with lights for dd1 (PFB alert!)

and got a bog standard mothercare thing for dd2, no lights

did not interfere with each other

DD1 is just 2, DD2 is 12 weeks.
I know it sounds very PFB to still have a monitor at 2 but we're all on 1 level so bedrooms quite a way away from living area (and our room) and I know I can't hear her without the monitor.

Thanks OO. Guess I can always take it back if they don't work.

mine are 5 and 3 and we got rid of the monitors this year

our house is quite big and I would rather hear them if they are upset and have a monitor

anyone who thinks it odd can bog off was my motto

you do whatever you want!

Phew - thanks, am rather attached to my parent unit
