They are good, nice basic RS.
They go for about a tenner I'd say, in fact there is someone selling one on the babywearing yahoo group right now here who is open for offers if you can join fast enough!

I hated mine, sold it on pretty quick, fabric is quite rough and hard to adjust through the rings. A few other people I know have said the same thing. The babywearing group have lots of ring slings come up as CG said, Ellaroo are meant to be a good one.

i've got one, and wouldn't be without it. I've had a slingeasy in the past (used it until it fell to bits!), but think i prefer the freedom really as the padding is much less bulky.
i don't find the fabric rough or easy to adjust btw, but slings are very much a personal thing. could you try to find a sling-meet somewhere near you to try a few out perhaps?

brightsparkslings do a good non-padded version as well which is fairly reasonably priced.
I forgot some freedom slings can be padded, I did not get on with padded ring slings!

tell us what you're after then mumofdj, why are you looking for a ring sling? Babybjorn carrier is a very different way of carrying a baby.

freedom slings generally sold quite cheap as they're cheaper to buy than other rings. The close is a cross between a ring & a wrap sling, some people on here rave about it. Why don't you try that first (although not sure whether as good as a ring sling gen. for bf) and then see if you want another? They're 50+ new! There are sling meets in scotland, have a look.
