Looking for a leak-proof, dishwasher proof drinking bottle for kids?

Anyone have any recommendations?

Have tried Lakeland but the only ones they seem to have are lock and lock ones which get rubbish reviews.

I really want to stop having to buy bottled water for lunchboxes so any ideas would be appreciated!

Sigg bottles are pretty bulletproof, and because they aren't plastic they don't "taste" of anything. Expensive, but last well, and a great range of designs

The Sigg FAQ section says not to wash them in the dishwasher but I've been dishwashing DD's for at least 2yrs and it still works fine.

You can even put sparkling water/beer in them and they won't blow up. For adults of course

Siggs are fantastic our ds has had one for two years , they are a bit expensive but well worth the money. It is worth buying a pack of the neck seal washer things when you buy the bottle as we have lost a couple over the years . We also bought the handle thing , which helped him hold the bottle when he was younger. I use a grown up Sigg myself , have done so for years so always had a bias towards them.

A funky cup I have come across for bed time is the Lite cup. which has a unique seal at the top so you can drink out of it like a cup , buy it does not spill if you knock it over. It is not 100% leakproof so if you leave it knocked over it will eventually drip. It has a little nightlight in the bottom aswell. I had to but one for grandad as well

Are the Sigg ones made by the same people who make the Tyrelll Katz ones????

DD has a TK one and it's brilliant. Would like to get the dtwins Sigg ones but they don't seem to do lunchbags to match.

Seriously, the basic Ikea water bottles that can double up as an ice pack (if frozen). 74p I think. They don't look great but they DO the job!
