Have read about this bike, all I know about it is that it can take two child seats and is Italian. Have 'googled' it but cannot find where to buy - cany anyone help?

I have one of these for DS who's 5, could you get one for your 5 yr old and a normal child's seat at the back for your other DC?

pickie do you know these people at the Oxford Cycle Workshop here? A friend of mine works there part time and the people who work there always seem to have the most amazing selection of random load and child carrying bikes, you never know, they might have one you could try out.
Kafka, what about a front mounted child seat and then a tagalong? As you say it is helpful being able to leave the tagalong at school, that's what we always used to do.
I think that a 5 yr old and 3 yr old would be ok in a trailer, but the 5 yr old would grow out of it quite quickly.

Overmydeadbody the best collection I remember seeing in Cambridge was a woman with a front seat, a back seat, and three children squidged into a trailer. The joys of the flat Fens!
Round here I struggled with just two of them - we have a 120m climb over 2 miles to get home from school. The view is very nice when you get here though

Well it is half term and I thought I would up date you all as to what I did.

I got ds a puky scooter on he zooms to school. Most mornings he scoots to school on the pavement and through the park, dd and I go with him on my bike. Now that dd is getting older sometimes we all scoot, but I tend to be 'shouting' for much of our journey with two littlies haring about.

I have only taken the car once to the school so I am pleased and probably a bit fitter!

thanks to all of you for helping me think through all of the options.
