Why is my Little Life reigns/rucksack strangling my son

I got one of these because I saw them last summer and thought they looked so cute and much more convenient than normal reigns. However whenever I put them on DS they just ride up and the chest strap with the clip comes up so far that it is at his throat.

I am very alarmed by this and cant understand what we are doing wrong

Any ideas?

Tighten the straps up a bit, so that it fits a bit more tightly, It will be more comfortable for him too.

You might need to tighten the shoulder straps and the chest stap so its a snug fit on him - less chance of it ridding up. How old is DS? - I use one on a 2 year old and think its great - but when I used on him when he was first walking and still fell over a lot I didn't find it that great (old fashioned reins were better then for hitching them up!!)

Ds is 18mn and walking solidly. I have'nt tried it for a few months because Ihave'nt needed to and wanted to get some advice before trying it again.

Will fit it to him for a trial run in the garden - which he will hate - it's his garden and he goes where he pleases!
