Hi,

I'm looking for books about toddlers. DS is nearly 1 and whilst I haven't got any real issues I really enjoyed reading the baby books. Has anyone read baby whispers for toddlers or can you recommend any others?

Thanks

what to expect the toddler years. fab read, covers lots of stuff, relevant even for babies who sleep etc

There's a fab book by Dr Christopher Green, 'Toddler Taming'. I found it really useful - it reassured me that my DDs behaviour wasn't unusual. It's also v funny in places.

I agree on toddler taming by Christopher Green. A down to earth description of toddlerhood and a few strategies for coping with them.

BTW, I have also read BW books for toddlers and found them really helpful. Again, they are down to earth and give practical advice from someone who's been there.

Thank you all for that I'll get ordering and find out what he'll have in store for me over the next year

I like the Best Friend's Guides series and they have a toddler one.

Libby Purves talks a lot of sense about toddlers in her book "how not to be the perfect mother"

Yeah, Tass, I have also got those books and agree with you - IMO they are definitely worth buying. I am seeing an alarming addiction here - how many of these books have I actually accumulated?!
