Clover butter

Has anyone else noticed a weird taste with this recently?

Apparently it was a manufacturing malfunction and they should be removed from the shelf but obviously some tubs are still on sale.

Ive thrown away two tubs this week as I thought the first one was just me.

Omgg yes! I thought it must be menopause, it tasted slightly of vomit!

I haven't but dh said he did. I noticed the packaging was different though.

Clover isn’t butter, it’s fakey crap. Just use actual butter

Just came to post this! If you want butter, buy butter. Cover is a horrible, artificial spread.

Here are its ingredients:

Vegetable Oils in varying proportions (Sustainable Palm, Rapeseed), Buttermilk (Milk) (20%), Water, Salt, Natural Flavouring, Colour (Carotenes)

Here are the ingredients of Anchor butter:

Butter (Milk), Salt (1.7%)

I don’t think anybody was asking for alternatives 🙄

Isn't that margarine? Funny how they don't use that name anymore for all the crappy spreadable stuff.

Hi all, yes there was a malfunction in a number of batches, I reported the issue a couple of weeks ago and a number of complaints were in the system. I reported a faint aftertaste of vomit, the customer service advisor nodded his head in knowing agreement 🤣 (obvs I couldn’t see him but you get the drift.

Anyway, they sent me a voucher and I was also able to get a refund at the supermarket so
all good. Shame the PP threw theirs away.

So in summary, it’s not menopause or migraine related, it’s a case of a sh1t product tasting Sh1tter accidentally!
