Heated indoor airers

Wetweathergirl · Yesterday 16:12

Looking to purchase an indoor airer.
Are they any good? I usually just use a normal airer. Don't have space for a tumble dryer, so not an option.
Tower or winged ones?
What do others use?
Thanks

We have one from Lakeland. It’s a tower one- but you can fold half down to take up less room if you have less to go out.

It’s brilliant. I wouldn’t be without it. The radiator is off in the room it lives in, as the airer warms the room- and it always smells of fresh washing!

Clothes dry quickly. I also pair up socks and fold items that are not quite 100% dry and just place them on the bottom rack to finish off, which frees up space higher up if needed.

i have that Lakeland tower one and find it pretty crap tbh. My dryer is much better, sorry.

We don’t have a dryer and love my heated airer but outside was given to us and I don’t think I’d buy one. You can put your airer next to a radiator and put a sheet over the lot and it works just as well Smile

I find the Lakeland one crap too, I never use it, I prefer a normal one and a dehumidifier

we have a heater airer - Lakeland - which we put up in the bathroom that has an extractor fan

using it for 2 hrs overnight the things dry in around 24hrs

without it stuff would take 3 days at this time of year

For anyone that finds them crap, do you use the cover or throw a sheet over? Without this I don’t find them any good but covered and washing dries pretty quick.
