Mattress you still love after five years?

Hi I want to buy a mattress but all the reviews I find online are from people who bought them very recently. I want to know it will last me for many years! I am looking for a king size firm mattress under £700. Has anyone got any advice (do or don’t) who has had their mattress 3+ years? Thank you!

Emma. We’ve had ours nine years and still all ok. But it is regularly rotated and top cover washed (I have a spare to facilitate).

I was given a Tempur mattress that was a few years old then. (Someone I know very well and had already slept on it many times.) That was 15 yrs ago.. I absolutely loved it. I only replaced it when they yet again bought a new mattress. I did think about the old mattress being nearly 20 yrs old.
It was a couple of thousand tho new.

Emma for me too. It’s over 5 years old and it’s still perfect. I miss it when we stay somewhere else overnight!

Sealy Posturepedic. We've had it for ten years now, and we know it's overdue replacement, but we're too worried to because we're so happy with it. It's brilliant, no sagging in any area and still lovely and firm all over.

Ikea mattresses. There are a few “ranges” (the more expensive ones really are better) and soft/medium/firm in each range (I prefer firm).

We got one for a child’s bed about 10 years ago and have gradually switched all the mattresses to Ikea ones over the year. They are brilliant, and not expensive.

We got the premier Inn one. It has changed now, ours was hypnos and I think they are silent night now.

Bloody lovely and lasting very well. We them for all the kids too after seeing how good it was.

We have a 6 year old Otty. Bought it directly from them but reconditioned via their EBay store, any mattresses that are returned within 100 days. Half the price, they’re recovered and thoroughly disinfected. It’s still really comfortable.

Great thanks. I’m going to look them all up and see what’s what with prices
