Does anyone have any experience of using the above. In particular they have a front wheel with a 'patented' partial swivel. how well does it work and how does it compare with the more tradition Mothercare Glacier range

Thank you

I have the quinny wiyh the swivel wheel & would highly recommend it. at the moment I'm stillusing the carrycot on the chassis. whatever you do though, don't buy the lime green/yellowy coloured one - it attracts flies like crazy!

hi, We are currently thinking of buying a quinny freestyle3 wheeler, but have had mixed info on if you need a carry cot. Some say pram only from 3 months and other say birth, so my question is does it lie flat?

No, it does not lie flat although I think the latest 2003 re-designed model here seems to recline more than previously but am unsure whether it is the same one as in UK at the moment. The seat is pretty large and you may find that a young baby will "swim" in it unless you pad it out with footmuff etc. Also it only faces forward unless you have carry cot or Maxi Cosi attachment. We bought the Quinny Fashion 3 for dd at 4 months because it does fully recline, seat is reversible and a little more supportive, and did not bother with a carrycot as we already had a 3 in 1. However it doesn't have the swivel wheel and weighs a bit more.

I've got the quinney freestyle 3 wheeler and think it fantastic pose wise, it's really light and really easy to steer but on the downside, it's huge when it's folded down. It almost fills the boot and we've not got a small car. You also have to be really carful when iot's folded because the front wheel touches the inside of the hood and leaves a dirty mark!!!!

We've got the Quinny Freestyle 3 and love it. The front wheel swivel mechanism is good and makes it glide nicely around pavements etc, though around shops give me my Maclaren swivel wheels any day.
It is bulky although both back wheels quick release off easily.

It's incredibly sturdy and a real pleasure to push for miles and miles cos of the comfy handles and buoyancy of the whole chassis, plus looks fab (we've got the blue one - look on Ebay for bargain ones. ) We also bought the carrycot and used it tons, both on and off the chassis, indoors and out. No regrets there, particularly as it will (hopefully) be used for future babs too.

10 months on and we've had one flat but I wouldn't want to be without my Quinny
