Can you recommend what style of jeans for a size 14 short 50 year old please!

I’m 50 soon to be 51, I haven’t worn jeans in years, I’ve a tummy since I started menopause and big bust so generally an apple shape, I’m only five foot size 14. I went to Marks and Spencer last week and just couldn’t find a pair that suited me but I don’t know if I just don’t know what suits me, any recommendations please? I want to look a bit more stylish and my age rather than a frumpy old woman, I feel like I’ve totally lost my way style wise, I live in my work (smart) clothes or I’m totally scruffy at weekends

I'm 54 and 5'3 and didn't wear jeans up until around 4 years ago. I now live in the M&S barrel or palazzo jeans (short length), they're both quite high waisted so hide the tum! Did you try either of those?

I’ve literally had this battle for hours this weekend. I’m 5ft 4, size 18. I’ve bought petite bootcut jeans and they fit Perfect

I’ll go and try these on, I tried mainly straight, mum jeans and a pair of boot cut but they didn’t sit right, I was trying for dark because I thought they would be more slimming not sure whether a lighter pair might look better x
