Wow am so confused - is an ipod the same as an MP3 player? Basically want something to store photo's, short videos & music. What's the difference between all the types out there? i'e nano, shuffle, etc? Should I go for an apple?
From v.confused!!

Its just the name of it, like classic. ipod nano. For some reason my links aren't working, but have a look on Apple site.

Ecmo · 30/06/2008 19:18

the ipod nano has a display for pictures or just to show which song is playing. The shuffle has no display.

I have the video/classic. 30gb and can hold about 10,000 songs.
I currently have about 1000 songs, 500 pictures and 200 videos.
I find it's great to keep DS amused when we're in queues/waiting for appointments.
I love having videos because I have quitea few music ones, funny stuff from Youtube and quite a few episodes of Spongebob for me Ds.
A lot less bulky than a DVD player and keeps us both happy!

I have the shuffle, the cheapest ipod - it's nice and small, but fits a lot of songs and you can clip it to stuff. Also good that you can charge it from the pc - no AAA batteries to replace.
