Can anyone recommend a good quality soft pillow that my head will sink into but will last a while. I've had so many but the softness never lasts.

I bought pillows filled with shredded memory foam, they're super comfy and soft, with a firm 'spring' to them, but not too hard. The best thing is you can remove some of the filling if they're too firm:

The only pillows I could find that were at all comfortable for me were Premier Inn pillows. Soft, reasonably cheap and come in packs of two. Although the last pair I bought very recently didn't seem to be as soft as usual. I hope they aren't going downhill.

I wish there was a 'try it out' option for pillows because I've lost count of the number I've bought when they felt all right in the shop but I've had to hoy off the bed in the middle of the night because they turned into bricks when slept on.
