Recommendations for fans or air conditioning units for next summer

In view of not being able to get cooling fans nor air cons units due to not being prepared in time, I’m trying to be a step ahead for next year.
Which fans or aircon units did people buy and recommend to deal with some of the crazy temperatures that seem to be getting the norm now.

I have a vornado fan which is worth every dollar I spent on it. We've got Daikin reverse cycle air con and it does the job. Mitsubishi before that and it also did the job until it didn't.

We bought a ceiling fan which has been the best thing ever

I got 2 Russell Hobbs bladeless tower fans for about £160 each which have been good. Quiet on the low settings so good for the bedroom at night.

Meaco fans are the gold standard. Also agree with ceiling fans.

We have several Meaco fans. They come in various sizes and are quiet. That’s great for the bedrooms.

We've also got ceiling fans. Made such a difference.

We have ordered air con unit, should be fitted in next couple of weeks, not sure if you are aware, currently no VAT until April

I know a couple of people who rave about their Dyson hot and cold bladeless fan. I don't need anything beyond a standard fan in my house because it naturally stays quite cool, so can't speak from personal experience.

Meaco fans. Very quiet.

Start saving now and get proper fitted aircon summers are only going to get hotter its worth it and currently you don't have to pay vat

Another Meaco fan, dehumidifier and air con unit devotee here, superb quality and brilliant to use

We have Bionaire fans bought from Costco years ago, a couple of pedestal and a couple of desk. Have given excellent service. They are powerful, quiet, have built-in timers (great for turning themselves off partway through the night) and remote control.
I remember we picked them up early in the season, long before the hot weather arrived and they went short supply.

We are now have full AC installed.
Have already placed the order and it should be complete by Jan/Feb, perfect timing to miss the impending VAT rise and before the mad rush of early summer.

Bought an air conditioning unit, on wheels last year from Tool Station. Best decision ever.
Cost under £300.

Thank you all for the suggestions. Will check them out and get ordering.
