Double pram

I have seen a double pram but cannot find it anywhere? It is a wider than normal pram and has two seats inside it which can be either flat or upright ideal for newborn with young infant. Does anyone know where I can find this pram?

more clues please...

[this will soooooo attract pram addicts]

manufacturer?

Yorky · 29/06/2008 21:50

Mountain buggy does carry cots which fit on their double buggy, I think first city wheels does a similar double which may have the option of a double carry cot rather than two singles,
Sorry I can't be more specific

gigglewitch · 29/06/2008 22:00

do you mean this?

Humphries · 30/06/2008 12:52

Thanks for the link Gigglewitch. It's not quite what I saw. It looks like a Wide Silver Cross pram but when you look inside it has two seats so one baby can sit and one can lay down or both together.

I have seen a lady pushing one in my local town centre, if I see her again I will ask where she got it from.

Is it something like this bertini one. If so my cousin has one of these for her twins. It looks like a pram when they are newborn, but the seats can be adjusted independently, so it's suitable for children of different ages.

Humphries · 30/06/2008 21:41

Thats the one.

Thanks tutu100, did your cousin think it was a good buy?

Yes she has loved it, says it is brilliant to push. She really liked it when the boys were tiny as it seemed really comfortable for them and she liked that you can have it facing you. Even at 3 they still sat in it comfortably, and she has kept it for her next set of twins (she's pregnant with twins again!).

The only real drawback is that it is big and quite heavy so not really suitable if you are in and out of a car all the time unless you have a big boot, but if you do lots of walking then it will probably be perfect.
