hello
we ahve decided to get a chrysler but not sure which one to go for. there are 2 options both are 2.5 diesels:-

  1. registered feb 2002 but jas a 51 plate? 55k on clock no damage. 30 miles from where we live but only has 2 service history receipts at 41k and 47k. price around £4000

  2. 2002 - 02 plate, collection from south wales, full service history but alloys are a little scratched and paint work need attention on back bumper and slight bump on bumper (brother and friend can fix this) £4800.

which would you go for. please advise this morning within next 40 mins as going out. thank you very much

personally, with the cost of petrol/diesel and tax etc I wouldn't get either - but if you really have to, go for the one with less mileage. Paintwork can be touched up.

If it's a chrysler voyager your considering they have the worst safety scores. And lewisfan is right, we have a diesel mpv (not Chrysler). When we bought it 5 years ago it cost about £45 to fill the tank. Now over £100. We no longer need the 7 seats so will be changing soon.

Also be very careful about new tax brackets. All cars post 51 plate will now be taxed according to emissions from next year.

Just checked..guessed some of details but road tax will be £300 from next april
