KURA reversible bed - anyone have one and what do you think of it?

What age is it suitable for and up to when? DS will be 5 in August and want to get a bed he will love for a good few years. He has a small bedroom, so not much space.

I don't own one, but I can see that it takes a full size single mattress so it should last him until adulthood if necessary. When reversed the mattress lies on floor level so I imagine it would be suitable from 12 months+. I don't know when it would be save to put your son on the top level, but if you use one of these bed tents from Ikea, it might offer a bit more security?

thanks jajoom, it'll be handy for sleepovers if I buy 2 mattresses, I thought.
