I'm feeling the pinch with everything going up, cost of living etc and I'm trying to be savvy but failing miserable so far..but need to reduce it further due to having to take a pay cut from work.

I'm trying to do my weekly shop for under £100 per week for 3 of us but struggling to get it under £130 Is this even doable? Not including lunches.

DS is a very fussy eater which is increasing cost too.

There was a young mum on this morning today who was doing five meals for £25 might be worth watching it and giving her a follow on instagram

Sounds like a lot to me but without knowing what you're buying no one can tell

Do you meal plan and shop online?

Only meat he will eat is chicken, won't eat anything in a sauce or gravy.

It’s perfectly possible to make family sized meal for £5 but it’s not going to be big pieces of chicken. Do they eat vegetables? Will they eat pasta with a sauce?

I spend about £60 a week for 2 people, including household boring stuff, but we eat vegetables (and all meats)

My go tos include making a large 6 person lasagna which costs £10 but that’s 3 meals, similarly shepherds pie. We love things like Caesar salad which comes in about £5, had stir fry with chicken today that was exactly £5, curries i usually make enough for 2-3 meals

I find going to Home Bargains before Asda each week invaluable. They sell food and cleaning agents there too. I di agree though that food is ridiculously priced. Weekly fish cakes Asda brand rising in price literally weekly.

Is there a pound shop that also sells food and cleaning agents too in your area op?
