Walking sandals

Hello!

Can anyone recommend some incredible walking sandals to me, please? I'm doing a walking holiday next Spring, but would love to catch a bargain in the sales now in preparation. Comfort/sturdiness is priority - I'm not overly bothered how they look.

No particular budget in mind, I'm happy to pay a premium for a pair which are super comfortable and will last me a good few years. I'm very outdoorsy so although I have a specific holiday in mind, they will get a lot of use.

Thank you!

Keen walking sandals are really comfy! I love mine, although do recognise they’re not particularly pretty!

I have the keen Elle back strap sandals which are also very comfy and less ugly!

I find my Ecco ones very good. Women's ECCO® OFFROAD Nubuck Walking Sandal | Beige

I’ve found TEVA sandals really good in the past, something like this:
Whatever you buy I recommend they have adjustable straps across the feet so you can loosen them
if they get a bit tight when walking.
These are M&S but they sell them in a number of places.

I love my teva sandals.

I’m another one here advocating for Keen walking sandals. They are incredibly comfortable and really hard wearing. I got my recent ones from Amazon and they were a real bargain too, as they are generally a little pricey (though well worth it). I’ve got a pair of whisper and a pair of Clearwater. The Clearwater have seen a lot of use and are still going strong.

Keen for wide feet
Teva for not wide feet - they currently have a sale on. The sizes on their UK site at UK sizes and they are true to size.

I’d avoid the Keen Whisper style. I’ve had 2 pairs “fail” the same way and my friend has had a pair do the same too. The strap has torn in the same place on all three pairs. In the photo, they’ve been like this for at least 4 summers, but I never trust them not to fall apart when I’m out. They’ll do for swimming.

These are really comfortable, can walk for miles in them, and can adjust the fit if your feet swell in heat
