Flipping Argos

I ordered a bed for my son on June 2nd and the money was debitted straight away. I was told I would be given a delivery date within 28 days. I have just had a letter to say they won't have any beds until August 8th and it will be delivered after that. In the meantime they have my money for over 2 months and I have no bed!

Hi itati, have you spoken to their Customer Services team? To be honest I'd request a full refund and buy a bed elswhere, I've had nothing but trouble with returning items to Argos. If you do want that particular bed, I would write a letter to them, asking for compensation for the prolonged delay and a definate delivery date, if they are saying delivery will be after August 8th, that could mean anything. Good luck!

On phone now.

Have cncelled order.

Making me wait 5 days for my refund and I am waiting to speak to a supervisor as I want it back today as I need to order another bed. (Not that I can find one I can afford atm)

They have had my money for a month when tbh I have struggled without it.

I have a kind of result. The money will be released today and she will put an urgent chase on it so I get it asap. She is also sending me £20 in gift vouchers. If I want the money back today I have to go in to store. I don't want to have to go out specially and when I am trying to save diesel, why should I have too?

Now, who can find me a bunk bed with a futon underneath?

Glad you got some sort of result, good luck with finding that bed! .

Bunk with futon

Change of plan. Since DS1 and DD can't spend more than a minute together without fighting no new bed is being bought.

Thanks PAL. I will keep it in mind if they ever learn to live together nicely.
