Trotters Childrens Clothing Sizing

How does Trotters childrens clothes sizes come up? I've had a few pieces mainly labeled 'Chelsea Clothing Co' from there for my little boy who is 8 months old and on the smaller size, but the totters clothes seem to come up tiny. I can't work out if the most recent vest I bought has the wrong label stitched in or the sizing is just small? Has anyone else found this?

Also can anyone else recommend any other similar clothing brands that sell traditional children's wear?

Yes they're tiny! Just size up massively and you won't be disappointed, if you're buying on eBay or Vinted rather than from the shop.
Other brands I love which are the Spanish traditional style (sooo cute) Babidu, Foque and Miranda which you can find on Childrensalon, or the Childrensalon Outlet websites. Babidu is very reasonably priced.
I think you would like La Coqueta as well, which is not on that website.

For all of these brands, again, size up a lot as they are small.
