Oh god I'm tired, tell me which parasol to get

I think I'm going to buy a garden table and chairs from this shop so will get cheaper postage if I buy a parasol from them but can't work out the differences between them and am getting beyond caring ...

Or shall I get a nicer one from elsewhere ...

We have a tendency to leave them out in the rain ...

er i think i would go for the wooden one. depends what furniture you have though. and have you got a base for it? or maybe it comes with one, soz didnt look

Oh god bases too!!! Bloody hell I wish I could just buy everything in one package. Am getting the table & chairs, plus cheap extra folding chairs from elsewhere, parasol, chair cushions, and now a BASE too!!! Oh the effort.....

That is good. Mind you the one we have now is as you describe, and now looks awful as it's been left out so often ...

thats a really lovely table set. dont think the wood would go, im not sure now!

Maybe the metal one. The bases are really heavy but nicer to have a metal base than a plastic one with the set you are getting.

some bargains here i bought the 2.7m hardwood ones and am v pleased with them

never take mine in, it stays out all year. i did plan too, but never got round to it. same as putting a cover over the trampoline, that never happened either!

smint - have never seen a granite base, they look unusual. i have a cast iron one, and they look a good price on the tesco site

they have granite bases in Asda I do spend time in places that are not supermarkets, honest

LOL at smint - i namechanged for another thread! Granite does look nice. I have a naff plastic one .

are they nice? I am interested as i have never heard of them before. will away to the asda for a nose at some stage

The ones I saw were granite spheres, they looked very nice, they also had cast iron ones that would match your table and chairs.
